WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ENERGY HEALING AND SPIRITUAL HEALING?

Energy Healing happens whenever there is a request for healing to take place, whether in the body, the mind or the soul, in the spirit of the saying: ‘Energy Follows Thought’. The healing practitioner attunes to the consciousness of healing energy itself, to act as a channel or perhaps even a transmitter, to enable this to happen.

Spiritual Healing happens when the healing practitioner lets go of all personal desires and expectations and allows the energy to follow its own path, without any disruption or interference. This state of mind creates a far larger space for healing energy to express itself in both practitioner and patient, so that it becomes a ‘free range’ rather than an experience limited by the attitude and influence of the healing practitioner.

The Healing Support Group Mission Statement

Spiritual health care requires the care giver to be wholly and unconditionally commited to the well being of the patient, in the spirit of service, love and compassion.

Spiritual Healing takes place when the Practitioner focuses on the energy of the Client and asks for healing to take place, without placing and personal expectations on the outcome.

Healing Practitioners create a safe and comfortable environment for their clients, to allow the space and time for healing energy to be generated.

Healing Practitioners do not promise to ‘heal’ or ‘cure’, because they believe that everyone has ownership of their own health; their role is to facilitate the healing process.

Being healthy is understood as being able to manage oneself, in body, mind and soul, with appropriate help and support for wellbeing.

Healing Practitioners do not diagnose any conditions; they are required to recommend Clients to seek medical advice for any health problems.

Healing Practitioners do not give advice to Clients; they encourage them to make their own choices.

Every healing session is a private interaction between Client and Practitioner; confidentiality is only broken if it becomes clear that the Client is at risk in any way.

Registered Healing Practitioners have PVG clearance to allow them to work with vulnerable people.

Registered Healing Practitioners are entitled to support patients in hospital, provided that there is permission from the medical staff.

—————————————————————————————————————————————-

Healing energy is ever present in life. However it can be depleted through poor nutrition, destructive lifestyles and polluted environment, as well as through traumatic and abusive life experiences.

Energy healing does not promise a cure. It enables the healing process to be revived, so that it can work to the best of its ability, according to every individual’s unique set of circumstances.

Energy healing takes place naturally, whenever an injury or an illness occurs. However it can be enhanced for the person in need of healing by the presence of another person, who offers uncoditional support for a period of time.

Energy healing can help to raise physical, psychological and spiritual awareness, so that anyone receiving it is able to make the most of their innate capacity for healing.
